
Tim R Goodwin
Tim R. Goodwin is a U.S. Army veteran and businessman who has represented District 30 in the South Dakota House since 2017, serving as Majority Whip from 2019–2023 before returning to the legislature in 2025. A Rapid City resident born in Minneapolis, he and his wife Marcia have eight children. In 2026 the South Dakota Farmers Union honored him with its Service to Agriculture Award.
