Tim R Goodwin
Tim R. Goodwin is a U.S. Army veteran and businessman who has represented District 30 in the South Dakota House since 2017, serving as Majority Whip from 2019–2023 before returning to the legislature in 2025. A Rapid City resident born in Minneapolis, he and his wife Marcia have eight children. In 2026 the South Dakota Farmers Union honored him with its Service to Agriculture Award. He has championed property tax relief legislation throughout his tenure.
