Why they’re
Sensible
Katie Washnok is the energetic, community-rooted voice that District 3 needs in Pierre. Her leadership of the Brown County Republican Party and the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce demonstrates she can build coalitions and deliver results, not just talk about them. She has been explicit that she wants District 3 to be "a priority in Pierre" and advocates for real infrastructure investment, job creation, and keeping families in South Dakota. Sensible South Dakota is drawn to her clear-eyed demand for "less talk and more action" and her record of earning recognition as one of the region's top young leaders.
